PostgreSQL Conference Europe 2026

Join for an event focused on running PostgreSQL in cloud native (and cloud neutral) environments. We'll explore the current landscape of Postgres operators, share best practices, discuss challenges, and dive deeper into production stories from both users and maintainers.

Attendees will gain practical insight into the tradeoffs of different operators, backup and recovery in Kubernetes, scaling strategies, monitoring, and zero-downtime upgrades. The format will include short talks and panel Q&As, so that we can cover as much ground as possible in half a day.

• Comparative operator design discussions (Zalando, CloudNativePG, Crunchy, etc.)
• Cross-vendor collaboration and open exchange of lessons learned
• Operator internals: failover handling, PVCs, auto-scaling, backups

A Summit invites collaboration. We invite PostgreSQL folks to open their minds and share what they need when using data on Kubernetes. Maintainers of Cloud Native tooling should get ready to discuss with their peers what should be pushed upstream to make stuff better for everyone, not just the single vendor.

Bring your case study, your lessons-learned, your patches, your ideas for standardization. We're looking for snappy 15-minute sessions to level-set, before going into moderated discussions on what the future of data on Kubernetes could look like.
