Brand Usage Guidelines For PGConf.EU 2026

How you may use the PGConf.EU branding and assets.

We are delighted when attendees, speakers, sponsors and members of the PostgreSQL community promote their participation in PostgreSQL Conference Europe (PGConf.EU).

PGConf.EU branding is provided to help you communicate your involvement with the conference. At the same time, it should not be modified, incorporated into another organisation’s branding, or used in a way that could imply a relationship with PGConf.EU beyond your actual involvement.

Please follow the guidelines below whenever using the PGConf.EU name, logo or other official conference branding elements.

Using The PGConf.EU Name And Logo

You are welcome to use the PGConf.EU name when talking about the conference or your participation in it.

You may also use the official PGConf.EU logo in materials promoting your genuine participation in the conference.

When using the PGConf.EU logo:

  • Always use the official logo files provided by PGConf.EU.
  • Do not modify, redraw, recolour, distort, crop or otherwise alter the logo.
  • Do not add your company name, logo, product name, text or other graphics to the PGConf.EU logo.
  • Do not combine the PGConf.EU logo with another logo to create a new or joint logo.
  • Maintain sufficient clear space around the logo so that it remains visually distinct.
  • Do not use the PGConf.EU logo as part of your own company, product, service or campaign branding.

Describing Your Participation

You are welcome to talk about your involvement with PGConf.EU. Please make sure that the description accurately reflects your relationship with the conference.

If you are a sponsor of PGConf.EU, please use the wording agreed in your sponsorship contract when describing your sponsorship of the conference.

Permitted example phrasings:

  • We’re attending PGConf.EU 2026.
  • Meet our team at PGConf.EU 2026.
  • Jane Smith is speaking at PGConf.EU 2026.

Keep PGConf.EU and company branding separate

You may include both the PGConf.EU logo and your organisation’s logo in the same graphic or promotional material, but they should remain clearly separate.

Please do not position your organisation’s logo inside the PGConf.EU logo, incorporate it into the conference logo, or create a combined PGConf.EU/company logo.

The overall design should not suggest a relationship between your organisation and PGConf.EU beyond your actual involvement with the conference.

Avoid implying an official relationship

PGConf.EU branding must not be used in a way that suggests or could reasonably be interpreted as suggesting an endorsement, partnership, sponsorship or other official relationship with PGConf.EU where no such relationship exists.

In particular, please do not:

  • describe your organisation as a PGConf.EU sponsor unless it officially holds that status;
  • use PGConf.EU branding in a way that suggests that your company, product or service is endorsed by PGConf.EU;
  • use PGConf.EU branding as part of the identity of a company, product, service or commercial offering.

Sponsors

Official PGConf.EU sponsors may identify themselves using the sponsorship level associated with their sponsorship agreement and may use any sponsor-specific assets provided by the conference.

Sponsorship does not grant permission to modify the PGConf.EU logo or incorporate it into a sponsor’s own logo or branding unless explicit permission has been provided by PGConf.EU.

Social Media And Promotional Materials

We encourage attendees, speakers, sponsors and community members to talk about PGConf.EU on social media, websites, newsletters and other channels.

You are welcome to create your own graphics promoting your participation. If you include the PGConf.EU logo, please keep it visually separate from your own branding and use the official logo without modification.

Incorrect Or Misleading Use

PGConf.EU reserves the right to request that materials using its branding are amended or removed if their use is misleading, inappropriate or inconsistent with these guidelines.
